Whats going on in West Chester?

What a cold week it has been thus far, with temperature reaching far lower points then they have reached in quite a long time. All of the students at the university must be happy that they can avoid walking the cold roads of West Chester for another week.

The West Chester Chamber of Commerce cut the ribbons over the weekend on the Main Line Health Rehabilitation Center, which is located in West Chester, although it has been opened for approximately eight months. The center specializes in rehab and physical therapy, they are considered to be one of the best providers in the area. They have experienced great success so far and have become a great member of our community.

The West Chester University Men and Women basketball team's have both had good seasons so far, and recently started league play. Both teams are on the road for the next few games but return home on January 30th and February 2nd, so if you have interest in seeing a game those are your next opportunities. The team plays their game on campus at Hollinger Field House which is right off of University Avenue. Go Rams!

In terms of real estate the market is really starting to pick it up so it is a great time to get involved. Things have been crazy over here at the office, which means that the new year is officially in full gear. This is great news for everyone.

We are currently talking to some local restaurant and business owner's, so be on the lookout for more frequent posts. Thanks for reading!

2013 is officially into the full swing of things

The year has officially begun and everybody is fully back to the normal work week. The Super Bowl is right around the corner with March Madness not that far behind. President Obama is getting inagurated for his second term and Martin Luther King day is already here.

Today is highly regarded as one of the best days in sports since the always exciting Super Bowl matchup will be determined. The first game today is the NFC championship between the San Francisco 49ers and the Atlanta Falcons, both teams have been great all year, so expect nothing but the same for today's game. The same goes for the other game which is between the New England Patriots and  Baltimore Ravens, this should be an outstanding game as well. The great thing about football is that it is not very predictable but if  was forced to choose, my prediction would be New England vs San Francisco for the Super Bowl. The only thing I can say for certain is that the Eagles have a long way to go to catch up with these teams, so lets hope Chip Kelly is the man that can take us there.

Also if you are a hockey fan, then  this was a great sports weekend for you. The season finally started after a very lengthy strike that threatened to cancel the whole entire season. The Flyers unfortunately started off with a loss to the Penguins, but it was still great to see them out there. They have 48 games in 99 days this year so if you did not get to see them yesterday you still have many more opportunities. Go Flyers!

West Chester University students have one more week of break and then the spring semester begins, so local business's can start preparing themselves for the busy season once again. There is the potential of a strike that will postpone the semester's starting date but let's hope that gets settled quickly. That's all for today, thanks for reading.
